Taiwan Hakka Culture Development Center held the "Picture Book Storytelling Finals" at the International Conference Hall of the Taiwan Hakka Culture Museum at 10 am on November 19, 2017 (Sunday). Participants were the top 6 outstanding students selected through the "Picture Book Storytelling Preliminary" on November 4.

We had to mention that all participants were students of the "Hakka Culture Picture Book Storyteller Training Course". Taiwan Hakka Culture Development Center specially organized this "Picture Book Storytelling Competition" for the students to use they have learned and also provided students with the stage for storytelling.

On the day of the finals, we invited the headmaster of the Tongji elementary school, Hsieh Meitao, who was also a student of the training course and a frontline educator, to come to the venue to give a speech and to cheer for the participants. During the finals, all the contestants did their best so that the performance was very excellent and the competition was very fierce; as a result, the children and parents on the scene were also very committed.

After the competition, the Hakka Cultural Development Center, Lai Yuqing, presented the certificates of merit to the winners and the prizes part will be awarded at the performance in December.
