To celebrate the Labor Day falling on Sunday, May 1st, the Hakka Cultural Development Center of Hakka Affairs Council announced to open both Liudui Park in southern Taiwan and Miaoli Park in northern Taiwan even on Monday, May 2nd, although Monday is usually the closure day for the Hakka Cultural Parks.
Ho Jin-liang, Director of Hakka Cultural Development Center, pointed out that both Parks are open in a hope to provide park service of national standard to our working-class friends for their own Labor Day holiday. Ho said further that the Liudui Park is currently holding a special bonus program in which you can donate an invoice of the current month at the amount of NT$200 or above to exchange a coupon ticket for the visit of Sanchuan Qata Suspension Bridge so as to enrich your trip in Southern Taiwan even further, while on the side of Miaoli Park, you can enjoy the ecologically rich Hakka Hospitality Garden, stroll on the Tung flowers walkways, visit the "Treasure Hidden in Hakka Villages ─ Special Exhibition for Walkers along Mountain and Sea Lines," and explore the "Hi Hakka Island."
In either Liudui Park or Miaoli Park, you should be able to enjoy the green natural ecological landscapes, taste the Hakka cuisines, learn about the Hakka culture and spirit, and wash away your toil and pressure. To celebrate the Labor Day, you should take a light travel on the Hakka Cultural Park.
