Hakka Cultural Development Center of Hakka Affairs Council is scheduled to hold the opening ceremony of 2016 Hakka Tung Blossom Festival at the Miaoli Hakka Cultural Park at 10:30, on April 23 (Sat). Held at 14:00 in the afternoon will be such events as Hakka arts and culture exhibitions, Hakka Bazaar, photo-taking zone for Tung flowers, Hakka network and school, and Hakka children's folklore and folkgame DIY.

           1,000 limited-edition Tung flowers cultural and creative sleeves will be given away to encourage participation. Online application will begin from 15:00, April 8 (Friday). People interested in the gift please sign up at the thematic network of "Hakka Tung Blossom Festival" (http://tung.hakka.gov.tw/0000021/article-0005429-1?lang=1) and print out the authentication slip, which shall be brought to the gift exchange zone of Miaoli Park between 15:30 and 17:00 on April 23 (Sat) to exchange the sleeve. Everyone is entitled to exchange one sleeve. Please present your own identification card. Availability is limited. Please watch out for the timing.
