"Miaoli Hakka Cultural Park will hold the Special Exhibition for "Braving Hi Hakka Island" soon during the Chinese New Year holidays.
Composed of virtual museums, physical exhibitions and educational learning facilities, the "Hi Hakka Island" is divided into three zones: "Braving Hi Hakka Island," "I am an iHakka player" and "Responsive Area." The "Braving Hi Hakka Island" is a multiplayer game, in which you must pass through the checkpoints by answering questions about Hakka culture. For example, do you know what cow the Tu-niou (earth-oxen) is? Do You know what the drag wood horse is? Come to break through the checkpoints and find out the answers! Warriors who want to break through the checkpoints please sign up at the Information Desk to get your registration plates and follow the instructions of Lord of Hi Hakka Island to enter the Hi Hakka Castle and complete the tasks at the checkpoints. Then, you will receive a limited-edition small gift.
"I am an iHakka player" is a zone in which you will find "playing house" and "educational aids." It is here that children can use the stove to cook so as to get a feel of how grandpa and grandma led their daily life in the past. It is also here that kids can simulate how Hakka people see off the Kitchen God and worship the God of Heaven to learn of the culture of gratitude. In addition, kids can draw the best Hakka villages in their own minds in the "Painting Dream Hakka Villages Area."
"Responsive Area" is a multimedia interactive area. Children can personally get into the "Hakka Digital Exploration Park" (http://ifun.thcdc.hakka.gov.tw/) to learn of Kakka culture through games, animation and exciting online checkpoints. They can also link to the website of "Hakka Digital Exploration Park" to take online courses at home.
