成長禮活動現場

Celebrating the milestone of graduating from elementary school, the Hakka coming-of-age ceremony took place in four counties/cities, with 666 graduates from 20 primary schools participating in this event.

This year, Hakka singer Robin Tseng (曾仲瑋) was invited to compose a Hakka song for the ceremony. Teachers and students sang the song together in an emotional atmosphere as the lyrics convey a feeling of pleasurable anticipation for a bright future ahead.

Taiwan Hakka Museum as the celebratory ceremony completed with the song of the Hakka spirit, the students were given bamboo baskets full of gifts that symbolized blessings from various sectors of society.

Special thanks to the township offices of Gongguan, Sanyi, Xihu, and Zaociao, the Toufen City Office, Taimide Technology Incorporation, as well as members of the Miaoli Cultural and Ecological Leisure Alliance including Shei-Pa National Park Administration; Miaoli District Agricultural Research and Extension Station, Council of Agriculture, Executive Yuan; Tri-mountain National Scenic Area Administration; Exploration & Production Business Division of CPC Corporation; the Miaoli County Government; and National United University. Because of the abovementioned sponsors, the ceremony was made possible.
