【Taiwan Hall Activity】Taiwan Hakka Chinese oral history workshop

Jointly organized by the Taiwan Hakka Museum, the Taiwan Historical and Taiwan Oral History Society, the “Hakka history – 2020 Taiwan Hakka oral history workshop” will be held on September 12th, 2020 (Saturday) in the briefing room of the Taiwan Hakka Museum (No.6, Tongke S.Rd., Jiouhu Village, Tongluo Township, Miaoli County, Taiwan). There is no fee to register and participate. Those who would like to join the seminar should complete their online registration via the signup system on the Taiwan Historica website (https://www.th.gov.tw/signup/index.php) or fill in the registration form and send it to the Taiwan Historica and Taiwan Oral History Society via fax (049-2372495) or email (ohorgtw@gmail.com) before September 6th . Please read the general registration regulations prior to signing up. The admission list will be posted on the official website of the Taiwan Oral History Society (http://www.oh.org.tw/) on September 8th (Tuesday).

Please take note of the following before completing your registration:

  1. If the seminar is cancelled or postponed due to a natural disaster, an announcement will be posted on the official websites of both the Taiwan Hakka Museum and the Taiwan Oral History Society.
  2. Please observe the relevant epidemic prevention instructions issued by the National Health Command Center, NHCC, during the epidemic. The organizer reserves the right to refuse admission or disqualify those who fail to follow epidemic prevention measures.
  3. While lunch, indoor insurance, and a certificate of credit will be provided, transportation, accommodation, and travel insurance are not included. Please sign up for the seminar at your own discretion.
  4. The organizer reserves the right to use a lottery system to determine participants should the number of applicants exceed 60.
