In April, the air is full of mist and Tung blossoms are blooming. In order to attract domestic and foreign tourists to visit and appreciate Hsinchu Tung Blossoms in Taiwan Romantic Route 3, the Hakka Affairs Council specially held a "Farmer's Market", "Unplugged music" in the Niulan River Water Park, Guanxi Town in the morning of April 27th, and held "April Snow Concert" in front of Zhubei Lin Family Temple Park in the evening. When the minister of Hakka Affairs Council, Li Yung Te, attended this event, he particularly urged domestic and foreign tourists to take time to visit Hsinchu and experience the spring Romantic Tung Blossom Festival in person.

Niulan River Water Park in Guanxi Town of Hsinchu County is especially selected as the location to hold the "Farmer's Market", as there are shady willows and the murmuring creeks in the park. The young farmers gathered to sell local fruits and vegetables, and there were up to 24 booths on the site, which combines elements such as health, environmental protection, and food to create diverse local features. In addition to the market stalls, there are unplugged concerts in the afternoon, which is led by three Hakka new-generation musicians Chiu Li Shu, Lung Hsuan Keng and Hsiao Chia Le. The fresh and self-created songs, accompanied with natural unplugged guitar, brought a romantic afternoon music feast to the audience!

With the drawing of the twilight, the "April Snow Concert" also opened officially. Some people were invited to perform in the concert, including the well-known international pianist "Chen Rui Pin", the multiple-times winner of Golden Melody Awards musician "Huang Lien Yu and Second Floor Band", "Yen Chih Wen and Lizard Youngster Band", who showed the new Hakka music, the rymour "Chen Yung Tao" and a new generation of Hakka female solo "Lo Yin Yin." This concert, led by Hakka musicians and the new generation of creators, presented Hakka and classical cross-border performances and paid tribute to "the Land, Humanities and Love in Taiwan" with music.

There was also a "Tung Blossom Funfest" event at the "April Snow Concert." Those who posted on the Facebook of “April Snow Concert, Tung Blossom Funfest” of “Hakka Tung Blossom Festival---Hakka Affairs Council, ”tagged 3 friends and left comments on "April Snow Concert", and uploaded live photos on Instagram or checked in with Facebook on the same day would have a chance to win this year's "Tung Blossom Mug"

The Hakka Affairs Council expressed that it sincerely welcomed domestic and foreign tourists to take time to visit Hsinchu to appreciate Tung Blossom and experience the beauty of Hakka culture during April and May when Tung Blossoms are blooming.
