The “Liudui Hakka Cultural Park”under the Hakka Cultural Development Center of Hakka Affairs Council will hold “the Award Ceremony of Film and Video selection Contest of One-day Activity in Liudui” on June, 2nd. Liudui Hakka Cultural Park is the shooting scene of this activity, hoping to combine the park's beauty, activities, and experiences together to weave into beautiful stories and present them to the public through the video images. Meanwhile, the activity is intended to show a different cultural park to people.

Director of the Hakka Cultural Development Center, Ho Chin Liang, stated that this year is the second time in Liudui Park to hold the “Film and Video selection Contest of One-day Activity in Liudui.”The first selection activity was held in 2017, which took the Hakka village as the main scene of shooting. It was expected that through the selection contest, people would visit Hakka villages and leave the images of current Hakka villages.

The main shooting scene of this year is in Liudui Park. Many teenagers and students use the characteristics of the park, such as Nicotiana(菸花), park activities ( thousands of people blue dyeing in the autumn harvest opening event, and road running in the starlight in Liudui ), as well as the park's beautiful scenery as the main theme to develop the story. In addition, the Internet Popularity Award is held so that each finalist can upload their own videos to share with friends and relatives through the Internet. At the same time, he also wants to thank the creators of these videos for promoting Liudui Park together through the Internet.

20 films and pictures were nominated respectively for the activity, from which the winning films and pictures were selected. During the event, visitors told their stories in Liudui Park through their shooting equipment. A biracial of Taiwanese and Germany, Tien-Li Schneider, took part in this activity. With the park as the background, she told the story of her grandfather when he was young in German, subtly showed the unique cultural differences of Hakka rice dessert, and brought out the sweetness of a Hakka girl from the perspective of a German. Additionally, the Nicotiana(菸花) story created by Mr. Liao Mao Neng reveals an immature and sentimental confession (I will not be lonely by your side). Also, there were other stories, like “The Remaining Temperature,” “Flavor of the Hometown,”“Immature and Sentimental Confession” and “Memories of Liudiu.” It is hoped that the activity can make more people see the multifaceted Hakka culture and moving stories through different stories through the creation of more films.
