Food Offerings to the Yimin Deities, Liao and Liu walked participants through the entire writing process from conceptual development and field interviews to the completion of manuscripts. Their presentations gave participants a more concrete understanding of the practice and possibilities of village history writing.
Since its launch, the Hakka Village History Project has produced numerous volumes of village histories. Through in-depth field research and writing by participating authors, the project has gradually pieced together the diverse and richly layered memories of life in Hakka communities.

Further, the Collecting and Writing Guidance Program (Phase IV) will hold one final information session for the Southern and Eastern Taiwan regions.
